Sunday Service

Sunday morning is 'Family Time' for Eagle Ministries! That means everyone is welcome to join us at Great Horkesely Village Hall from 10am (more details further down).

What happens? Well, the first 30 minutes is usually spent drinking tea & coffee and eating cakes & biscuits! Once everyone has settled down we have a time of musical worship followed by a talk which may include something interactive like group discussions. The kids can join a seperate group during the talk if the parents wish, in which they will do various activities usually based around stories from the bible. After the talk, it is normal for us to pray together and worship some more, allowing God to do in our lives whatever He will. Then its time for more tea, coffee and chatter! Building relationships is a key part of family life and we feel this is very important.

The services are usually led by one of the leadership team or a visiting speaker such as Tim Cross (Retired Major General), Martin Kirkbride (Anglican Minister), Frida (Rwandan genocide survivor) and many more.

The services are informal and fully focussed on growing in the relationship we have with God, and each other. Worship is led by a youthful band which includes both modern and traditional songs. We have a children’s group for those with young children aging from 3 – 12, and generally encourage teenagers to enjoy the service or help with the younger children.

We meet at Great Horkesley village hall at 10am for coffee, cakes and a catch-up which is followed by a 10.30am start. We finish around 12 noon.

We would love to see you there!
